I will be the first to admit that I openly accept anyone for whoever or whatever they decide to identify themselves as. It is a free society in which our freedoms of choice come right down to gender or racial identity. And no one or no law can take that away. We are doing that ourselves.
When these freedoms of choice are suddenly perceived to be carte blanche by any particular group in voicing their beliefs and in doing so they unknowingly run roughshod over everyone else for their “enlightenment”, self-destruction becomes imminent. It borders on leftist fascism to the point that it is their way or no way, or so it would seem. To fight their oppression, they oppress others.
As a result of this misguidance what we seem to be ending up with is a melting pot of gender identity so extreme that we appear to be heading for a completely gender neutral society. We (well not me, I’m politically incorrect after all) have become so afraid of offending anyone that there has been a major movement to eliminate gender specific terms from our vocabularies almost to the point of making their use illegal. Mom and Dad are now Birth Parents One and Two. The terms boy and girl are no longer acceptable in school. Brother and sister are now simply siblings one and two. He and she, her and he are no longer acceptable on university campuses. But does that not as a result actually subdue, (oppress, actually), a specific group’s identity? Identities they are supposedly fiercely fighting to preserve and bring to the forefront of recognition?
So now members of the LGBTQ… community who identify with the opposite gender or find themselves comfortably somewhere mid-spectrum are losing the identity they are fighting to make mainstream. All in the name of political correctness. I say; you are who/what you are, own it!
I am in no way confused with respect to my gender identity. “Well, I’m a man, yes I am…”. But I am so very confused about that of those fighting for theirs. I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue should the straight among us decided to stand up for our gender orientation. We would probably lose our identity through the same misguidance displayed by other groups. For some reason straights don’t seem to need to put themselves out there publicly. Perhaps we are the only ones who are actually comfortable in our skin?
Racially, we appear to be in a similar situation. Black Lives Matter is the prime example of that particular aspect of this conundrum. Claiming to be an organization with platform to fight racism, they are so focused on bringing attention to themselves and the injustices against them that they have in fact become racist against non-blacks and have fostered even more racism against themselves as a result. A complete FAIL unless fascism was actually their goal. In their efforts to “help” other groups such as the LGBTQ… community to bring more attention to themselves, they are now actually dictating who can participate in Pride parades which in fact insights bigotry within an organization which prides (politically incorrect pun!) itself on inclusiveness and acceptance, thereby making them bigoted as well. As a result they find themselves less accepted and included. FAIL. As an aside, the even bigger question is how did it ever come that Pride aligned itself with BLM anyway? I truly believe that BLM has a fascist agenda on the table and in no way wants to actually fight racism, but rather promote hatred.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, the entire world was a-buzz, marveling at the fact that Meghan is of “multi-race” heritage and how wonderful this was that she was being welcomed into the Royal Family because of it. Because of it? Wow. The very fact that this racial aspect of the union became the focus is just about as racist as you can get. The non-racist approach would have been to completely ignore Meghan’s heritage and focus on the relationship alone. Interestingly, there was no mention of Harry’s being British and welcomed into a multi-racial family… Hypocrisy at its best.
The fight for diversity and inclusiveness will end in a world of non-identity. Just what the Globalists want to achieve.
